Professional School Workers

The elementary schools and early childhood centers of the Mid-South District are served by approximately 600 full and part-time teachers and administrators. The ministry of the Mid-South District is to support, equip, and network these very special workers called to serve the little ones of His kingdom.

A tool for Lutheran School Professional

The Lutheran School Portal is a rich reservoir of resources for those serving in Lutheran Schools. Within the secure setting of the Lutheran School Portal users will find the latest information and resources from the LCMS School Ministry national office, they will find information from their regional district office and have acces to resources posted by their school administrator.

Access to the Lutheran School Portal is provided through school memberships. A membership fee is charged based on school enrollment. This makes membership possible for all of our schools. Currently the Lutheran School Portal serves over 900 Lutheran schools with over 15,000 registered users. The Lutheran School Portal provides users with access to a listing of websites for classroom use, shared documents, sample lessons and more to help the classroom teacher integrate technology into the instructional process.

  • Lutheran Educators Resource Website is designed especially for Lutheran school educators. It contains listing of lesson plans, acceptable use policies, Internet projects and School web sites. LEA provides interactive mailserv for elementary teachers, early childhood teachers and administrators.
