School Evaluation
Is your Lutheran school in need of a thorough evaluation? The Missouri Synod’s Department of School Ministry offers you a unique service called SSAC (Strengthening Schools and Congregations). Its purpose is to strengthen and re-vitalize Lutheran schools that are experiencing problems, so that the mission of sharing and caring Christ can be more effectively accomplished in that place.
After your application has been approved, a team of three trained consultants is assigned to your school. The services are divided into two specific dimensions: the three-day on-site diagnostic visit and ongoing consultant visits. These services are provided to the school and congregation at no cost. However, all costs related to school improvement must be borne by the school and its operating congregation.
